LOS RAKAS FEATURED IN EA SPORTS SOCCER GAME FIFA 14 – OUT TODAY!

September 24th, 2013: Oakland via Panama’s Los Rakas is featured in EA Sport’s “FIFA 14” which is out today in the United States and worldwide on September 27th. The song “Hot” is off of their as-yet-to-be-released forthcoming double-disc project, “El Negrito Dun Dun & Ricardo” – which will see release in 2014.

According to Billboard, EA Music Supervisor Cybele Pettus describes the overall sound of the music featured in FIFA as “Celebratory and rhythmic. You want to get fired up like you get fired up if you’re at one of these games.”
Speaking to the sound of the song Raka Rich says, “‘Hot‘ is great for the FIFA 14 soundtrack because of the drums. Raka Stylo – one of our main producers – captured the intensity of the sport through the sound of the song. I think people will really enjoy it.”
Los Rakas have a deep love of soccer and their homeland of Panama. Their friendship with FC Dallas striker and fellow Panamanian – Blas “Super Ratón” Pérez – is especially fitting today. Pérez is featured on the cover of this year’s game after winning a fan voting competition which Los Rakas helped support through social media.
