Check out this piece by Raka Family and collaborator, Chief Boima via Dutty Artz: “RAKA DUN’S AMERICAN DREAM

Directors The Perez Brothers really did their thing on this one, taking Dun’s verses from a narrative about the broken promises of the American Dream, to the place where the criminalized are forced to become actual criminals. Unfortunately it’s a story not unfamiliar to anyone belonging to a marginalized community in any country. However for the U.S., this statement will be a bold introduction for those who may be unfamiliar with the duo’s past work.

Check out Raka Dun & Raka Rich perform the song “Africana” off their new album “El Negrito Dun Dun & Ricardo” [Support Raka Musik] at the California Roots Festival in Monterey late last month. Loving their sound with the live band! Check out all their tourdates: www.losrakas.com/events
