Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the Los Angeles Uprising. Being that I’m in LA and happen to be in South Central, I’ve been watching some media around this historical event which has been super mind-blowing when juxtaposed with what’s going on in Baltimore. The cycles continue and we have to ask ourselves: What are we really going to do to heal past ills and grow new futures?
