In the Daily News late last year, band leader Efrain Rozas said of the night, “They were doing crazy stuff here in New York and these parties are sort of going in that direction – destroying this stereotype that you have to dance in this way or be that way. It’s much more open. Dance however you want.”
DJ Oshun is on the decks playing Peruvian chicha and deep salsa, with the band playing 2 sets. I’m sure they’ll be playing tribute to recently fallen Salsa legend Cheo Feliciano.
