Zuzuka Poderosa is in Washington, DC tomorrow for this event put on by the organization Words Beats Life called “- a 3-day teach-in at The Kennedy Center with panels, discussions, presentations, art exhibits and much more – check out the agenda HERE.
“The Teach-In is an event for people who have or want to move beyond hip-hop as a purely aesthetic art and see it as a vehicle to build organizations and to educate youth and families along with their communities through the arts.”
Tomorrow is Day 2 of the event and Zuzuka be speaking about her experiences making #CariocaBass & #InterracialMusicBabies at 3:20 PM alongside Bryce Henson (Phd Candidate University of Illinois) & Mikal Lee (Cultural Ambassador Alum with the State Department’s American Music Abroad Program).
